Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Need to clean up the ol' gallery

_{Those of you who are my watchers and have perused my gallery know that at the moment there are a lot (a LOT) of pictures in there. And with the exception of Danny Suling, who looked at all 650-some images to provide his excellent critique, I doubt most people have the stamina to go through every picture. And of course I have improved (I hope) over the years as well. So I have made a list of about 150 images, mostly older ones, that I am going to delete. I hate to lose all the nice comments that people attached to them, but if people run out of steam going back in time to look at the older images, the comments won't be seen anyway. Except by me! And I do enjoy reading them. Anyway, I just wanted to give my watchers a heads-up, since I know I've been disappointed to see something I fav'd vanish with no warning. Not sure how soon I will do this, but probably in the next week or two. (And thank you all again for your nice comments and feedback on my work!)

I did delete seven or eight of the oldest images. But I took the suggestion someone had of making a separate folder to hold them instead of deleting them. So the other hundred or so are all there.

hmmm I'm sure I have the originals of the handful I took off of dA. But really, those were the worst of the bunch, stuff that wasn't very good. They only had a couple of comments each, so nobody else thought much of them either, lol! But putting all the rest in the Older Works folder seemed like a better idea, that way they weren't lost. Not all of them are old, I put a few more recent works in there too that I felt just were not up to my current standards. So maybe I should rename the folder, "Works Not Quite As Good As Everything Else."

I have just discovered your work for the first time and would be really upset not to see your ealier work, deleting seems a little rash. A folder named early works would be kind to the people who originally commented and newcomers who are interested in the entirity of such a artists work

I don't really understand why you feel you need to delete anything. DA has plenty of room, I would think. Please don't do it if it's just some inner urge to "clean up", OCD or anal retentiveness. I enjoy your work and would like to think it's got a place to be for a long, long time.
