Were You Looking For A Pirate? by Radthorne Were You Looking For A Pirate? by Radthorne
If so, you found one. My rates are reasonable - 50% of the cut, or 100% if you find yourself on the wrong side of my barrels.

Wonderful image! You make the most lovely little ladies. My one gripe (and you've heard it from me before) is that I DO wish you would make your images larger. Others who do similar art to yours are double or even triple your image sizes!

Thank you! Glad you like 'em.

On the subject of size, it's really a matter of piracy control. I've had too many of my works, and seen others as well, appropriated by folks who try to sell them as their own. They still try that, of course, but with the web-resolution images I'm posting, any resulting t-shirts or posters would look pretty crummy, so it doesn't last long. So everything is a compromise, and that's one I've had to make in order to keep posting 'em up.

Ah, so that is it. I should have guessed. What a shame you have to do this, and I understand completely why you would! Thanks for the rest of the story. I will continue to enjoy your wonderful work at whatever size you feel you can offer it. Best of the holidays to you and yours! Michael
